Outdoor: Top performer in the distance events for the Lady Tiger program...best time in the 5000m was 18:04.41 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational...ran the 10,000m at ACCs and crossed the finish line in 36:36.29. Indoor: Led the team in the 3000m and ranked second in the mile...top time in the 3000m was 10:07.92 at the ACC Championships...top mile run was 5:17.95 at the Clemson Invitational. Cross Country: Clemson's top finisher at the Lou Onesty Invitational (19th place) and second-best scorer at the Gamecock Invitational...ran outstanding 5K time of 18:57.2 at the meet in Virginia...career-best finish of sixth came at Gardner-Webb...was 11th at the Furman Invitational, where she was the team's #2 finisher...led the team at the Great American Cross Country Festival with a 19th-place finish...53rd at ACC Championships...top scorer for Clemson at the NCAA Southeast Regionals in 87th place out of 215 runners...her 6K time was 22:39.30.
South Aiken High School Highlights
Earned All-State honors in cross country and track for five consecutive years....also named All-Region in cross county and track for five years...winner of the Barry Irwin Memorial Award for Athletic Excellence in 2005...team captain all four years...named the South Carolina High School League Junior/Sophomore MVP in 2003...winner of the Coaches Award in 2000 and 2001...earned six varsity letters in track & field and five varsity letters in cross country.
