Named second-team All-ACC...played in 20 matches while picking up 17 starts... scored three goals and had eight assists for 14 points... took 27 shots... scored two goals in the Wofford match on October 10... also scored one goal vs. Davidson on October 21... tied for the team lead in assists with eight... tied for sixth on the team with 14 points...had ree assits in the Gardner-Webb match on October 2...has most career goals (24) and assists (17) among active Tigers...
In 2000:
First-Team All-ACC and All-South performer last season...played
in 20 contests while starting in 17 of those games...took a team high 62
shots and finished the season second on the team in points with
33...scored 14 goals and registered five assists for the season...posted
a hat trick in the sixth game of the season against Charleston
Southern...had probably his best game against Cal. St.-Fullerton when he
scored two goals and had two assists in a 5-1 Clemson win in the opening
round of the Clemson Nike Invitational Tournament...beginning with
Appalachian State on September 13th, had six straight games with either
an assist or a goal...scored Clemson's first goal against Wake Forest in
the opening round of the ACC Tournament...has most career goals and
assists among active Tigers.
In 1999:
Saw action in 18 games for Clemson, while starting in
eight...fifth on the team in points scored...had 12 points on four goals
and four assists...took 28 shots and had one game-winning goal...scored
his first goal and points as a Tiger on Sept. 5 when he scored the first
goal of the match in a 2-1 win versus Ohio State...scored a goal and
added an assist against Appalachian State and Winthrop, both Tiger
wins...assisted on Clemson's only goal in a 2-1 loss to North
Carolina..also had a single assist in a 2-1 win over UNC
Charlotte.
Before Clemson:
Transfered from Brazil to Marietta High
Scool where he played two years of varsity...while in Brazil he was a
member of the Sao Paulo state select team from 1993-1995...also a member
of the region team in Sao Paulo...chosen team MVP for Marietta in
1998...Cobb County player of the year and a member of the first-team
all-county squad in 1998...leading scorer in the county with 22 goals
and 9 assists...led Marietta High School to a 9-5 record in 1998, the
best record in school history...born April 1, 1980...majoring in parks,
recreation and tourism management.
