In 2000:
Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll...played in 15 games and
started in 11 for the Tigers...suffered a broken foot and was forced to
miss five games in the middle of the season...even with the injury was
second on the team with nine assists..took 40 shots, scored three goals,
and finished the season with 15 points...had three assists in the TIgers
opening game of the season against Hartford.
In 1999:
Got the start in all 19 games for the Tigers, one of only
three players to do so, the other two being seniors...ranked fourth on
the team in points scored (15)...had four goals and was tied for the
lead with seven assists...tallied a goal and an assist in Clemson's 3-2
loss to then #20-ranked Penn State and in the Tigers 4-1 upset over then
#3-ranked Wake Forest...also had two assists in the 9-0 victory over
Winthrop...dished out one assist versus North Carolina (9-12),
Appalachian State (9-15) and Furman (10-27).
In 1998:
Participated in
every game except one for the Tigers that season...he made 11 starts as
a freshman...scored one goal on 13 shots and tallied six assists as
well...his eight point total tied him for seventh on the team...netted
his only goal versus Cal Poly SLO on October 2...had an assist in two
straight games...dished out an assist versus Belmont in the Tigers 6-0
victory on September 9 and then assisted on the game-winner versus North
Carolina on September 13...also assisted on the game-winner versus
Lafayette in the Tigers' 5-0 win in the first round of the NCAA
Tournament...named to the ACC Honor Roll his freshman season.
Before
Clemson:
Played for New Zealand Under 23 Olympic Team in Japan...played
for New Zealand Under 20 Youth team for FIFA World Cup Oceania Youth
Qualifying Tournament in Tahiti... played for the New Zealand Under 17
team for F.I.F.A. Junior World Cup Qualifying Tournament...scored 10
goals, earned three MVP honors, and was selected to the New Zealand
Tournament Team...played for the New Zealand Under 19 High School
team... was born 12-22-78...majoring in special education.
