It was his eighth straight double figure scoring game off the bench breaking the Clemson record of seven in a row by Dale Davis in 1988-89. Rivers continued the streak at South Carolina with 10 points and now has a nine-game streak to match Clemson's 9-0 start.

• Wofford Head Coach Mike Young worked as a graduate assistant at Radford under current Clemson head coach Oliver Purnell in 1988-89. Two current Wofford assistants, Dustin Kerns and Geoff Shyatt, are Clemson graduates.

• Clemson is coming off a week in which it had back to back 20-point victories on the road. It marked the first time in 56 years (1949-50 season) that Clemson had consecutive road wins by 20 points or more.

• Wofford enters Tuesday's game with a 4-5 record. The Terriers have lost four games in a row since Drew Gibson, a 13.8 scorer suffered an injury. Their last victory was a 91-90 triumph at Cincinnati on November 21.

• Clemson has won four consecutive games and 9- 10 over Wofford. Wofford's only victory came in 1999-00 at Clemson, a 79-74 victory behind 27 points by Ian Chadwick.

• Clemson was ranked ninth in the nation in the Sagarin computer rankings and eighth in the collegerpi rankings through games of December 2.

• Clemson has out-rebounded the opposition by nine per game, on a Clemson record pace. The Tigers have out-rebounded the opposition in eight of the nine games so far this season.
