Highlights:
* Clemson has 21 victories so far this year, its highest total since the 1996-97 team won 23 on the way to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The 21 wins are already the sixth highest total in Clemson history. The 21 wins in the regular season tie for the third most in Clemson history.
* Clemson was ranked 36th in the collegerpi.com after its 75-74 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday. The Tigers jumped 10 spots in the RPI with a road victory over a team that was attempting to clinch the top seed in the ACC Tournament. Clemson's RPI is helped by the fact that the Tigers have six wins over the RPI top 50, tied for 15th in the nation.
* Clemson lost just three games by over five points all year, meaning Clemson either won, or was in 27 of its 30 games until the final minute.
* Clemson played the third (tied) most difficult ACC schedule this year no matter how you look at it (see two formulas included in the link below.)
