Coach Larry Shyatt on Tomas Nagys
“Tomas has had an exceptional preseason.  He is in the finest shape both physically and mentally that he has been in, since he first came to Clemson.   Academically, he needs just six more hours in the spring semester to graduate.  He has been a leader at different times during his career.

“He is probably our most aggressive interior player and without question our best screener on offense, which is very important running a motion offense.  Tomas made a difference in some key victories the last couple of years and could become a focal point when it comes to ACC time.   He really played well in the ACC Tournament last season when he scored 18 points against Florida State.”
