Coach Shyatt on Jamar McKnight -
"Jamar McKnight went through a frustrating and difficult first year at Clemson. He was a young man who had to deal with some severe family medical problems. Being far from home, it was difficult for him to deal with these problems. However, as the season went on, he was a catalyst in the school's greatest regular season victory in some time, the North Carolina victory. He worked very hard this summer and put himself in a position where he can be an integral factor this year. He is the only senior on the team and will provide some much needed leadership."
