Fine all-around student-athlete who was a recipient of the Arthur Ashe Award last year... honor is given to all-around student-athletes who excel in the classroom in athletics and in community service... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for 1999-00... winner of the team free throw percentage away last year as a freshman, he made nearly 78 percent... brought his game to a new level this past summer when he was a starter for the Canadian Junior National team... scored 18 points in the first game of that international competition and led the club in scoring two other times on the trip... also had 19 points in a game against host Brazil and 14 in a third game in the tournament... has continued that play at Clemson, he scored 29 points in Clemson's exhibition win over the California All-Stars... made 7-10 three-point goals in that game, including six in a row... was playing against a team that had a back court of former ACC stars Drew Barry and Ed Cota... transfer from Wyoming who went a year and a half without playing until he finally stepped on the court for Clemson last December 16th.
