One of seven captains for the 2000 season...has the versatility to play any outfield and infield position...had a sub-par year at the plate in '99 after having a stellar freshman season in '98...he did come alive in the latter stages of '99, including hitting a towering home run in the ACC Tournament to tie N.C. State in a game Clemson went on to win...hitting .292 with 58 RBIs and 13 stolen bases in 264 at bats through two seasons.
