Has one of the team's best arms...has been used in long relief and has made spot starts...will compete for a starting spot in the weekend rotation in 2012...in 82.2 innings pitched over 32 appearances (11 starts) and two seasons, he has a 7-2 record and 3.27 ERA while allowing 85 hits (.262 opponents' batting average) and 39 walks with 63 strikeouts...in 33.1 innings pitched over nine appearances (six starts) in ACC regular-season games, he has a 3-1 record, 2.97 ERA, and .210 opponents' batting average...#72 player in the nation in the preseason by College Baseball Daily...#73 prospect in the nation for the 2012 draft in the preseason by Baseball America.
