Joined the track & field team late in the fall of 2008 after a four-year stint with the football cheerleading squad at Clemson...joined the team with zero pole vault experience, but has become one of the team's top performers...will be eligible to compete for Clemson in 2009-10, but is contemplating going into medical school as well...competed as a level 10 gymnast as a middle-schooler in Georgia before dislocating both kneecaps.
