The yearlong promotion to find the Clemson Basketball Fan of the Year concluded Wednesday night during the Clemson vs. Miami men's basketball game. Four finalists, who were voted on by Tiger fans via www.clemsontigers.com, were introduced to the crowd. Over 10,000 votes were recorded and each of the finalists received over 1,000 votes.

The finalists were:

Charlie Fowler of Central, SC
Jack Edwards of Greenville, SC
Jack Nicholson of Easley, SC
Blake Daniel Simpson of Clemson, SC

To determine the fan of the year, each finalist had to choose a briefcase and one of the briefcases contained a lucky Tiger Paw. When the briefcases were opened, Jack Edwards, a four year old from Greenville, was officially named the Fan of the Year.

Edwards participated in a bowling promotion where he had an opportunity to take home $50,000. While he didn't win the money, he still took home a prize package as well as the title of Clemson Basketball Fan of the Year.
