Brian Hennessy is in his 15th year at Clemson and serves as a senior associate director of athletic communications. The Clemson, S.C. native also worked as a student and graduate assistant in the athletic communications office for six years (1995-00).
He is responsible for all athletic communications operations for baseball and is a secondary contact for football. He also serves as coordinator of publications and photography.
He has written and edited the baseball guide (1998-00,03-15) and football guide (2002-14). He has received numerous honors from CoSIDA, including a No. 4 national ranking for his 2000 baseball guide, No. 2 national ranking for his 2005 baseball guide, No. 1 national ranking for his 2014 baseball guide and No. 2 national ranking for his 2015 baseball guide.
Hennessy, who also has been responsible for layout and editing of the football gameday programs since 2002, teamed with Tim Bourret to rank No. 2 in the nation for the 2008, 2012 and 2013 program series.
He graduated from Clemson with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (1998) and received a master’s degree in transportation engineering. He also graduated from Daniel High School, where he played baseball and basketball. He was born Jan. 6, 1976 in Woodbury, N.J.
