Jeff Carey began his career as a Learning Specialist in June of 2011 after spending three years as a middle school Social Studies teacher and high school lacrosse and basketball coach. He first worked in Vickery Hall as a Strategic Tutor during his graduate studies at Clemson from 2006-2008. He was the recipient of the Strategic Tutor of the Year award in May of 2008.
Jeff graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in May of 2006 having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Education. He made the National Dean's List in 2005 and 2006 and was a recipient of Clemson's Anne Pickens Collins Scholarship in the same years. Jeff is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland and a 2002 graduate of James Hubert Blake High School.
