Freshmen Goh & Lim Represent Countries at 2017 Puerto Rico FINA Diving Grand Prix

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson freshmen Yu Qian Goh and Freida Lim are representing their countries at the Puerto Rico FINA Diving Grand Prix in San Juan, P.R. on May 4-7. Goh is representing New Zealand and Lim is representing Singapore that the meet, which will be held at the San Juan Natatorium. The meet features approximately 70 divers from 14 different countries.

Goh will compete in the women's three-meter, the women's three-meter synchro and the mixed three-meter synchro competition, while Lim is entered in the women's 10-meter, the women's 10-meter synchro and the mixed 10-meter synchro events.

Lim placed second in the platform competition at the 2017 ACC Championships, earning All-ACC honors. She was the first Tiger diver to earn All-ACC honors since 2008. She also advanced to the platform finals of the NCAA Zone B Championships and earned a 10th-place finish, a program best.

Goh, a native of Wellington, New Zealand, enrolled at Clemson in January of 2017. She trained with the Tigers throughout the spring, although did not enter in any competitions during the semester.
