The No. 10 Tigers begin their 120th season with a three-game weekend series against Wright State at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

CLEMSON OVERVIEW

WRIGHT STATE OVERVIEW
• Wright State is led by first-year head coach Jeff Mercer.
• The Raiders had a 46-17 overall record and 23-6 Horizon League mark, good for first place, in 2016.
• Wright State, who set the school record for wins in a season in 2016, won two games in the Louisville Regional.


QUICK HITS
• Clemson (No. 12) is one of seven ACC teams ranked in the top 18 of the USA Today preseason coaches poll.
Seth Beer reached base via a hit or walk in each of his last 60 games that he had a plate appearance in the 2016 season.
