The Tigers host Miami (Fla.) for the first time since 2014 when the Hurricanes come to town for a three-game series this weekend.

• Miami is led by 25th-year head coach Jim Morris.
• Central Florida defeated the Hurricanes 4-0 on Wednesday. They are hitting .246 and have a 3.81 ERA and .964 fielding percentage.
