Friday and Sunday Match Promotions:

  • There will be free chicken fingers for the first 50 fans in attendance on Friday against No. 28 South Carolina.
  • Sunday is Senior Day and the Tigers will be celebrating seniors Alex Favrot and Sam Edwards in a ceremony on-court prior to the match, starting at 12:20 PM.

Clemson Notes:

  • The Tigers are coming off a 7-0 sweep over The Citadel on Wednesday, April 18.
  • Alex Favrot is ranked 66th according to the ITA poll released on April 17. The senior from France is 13-13 overall this season and has played all 17 of his dual matches at No. 1 singles, and has defeated three nationally-ranked opponents.  
  • The French duo of Favrot and Simon Baudry are ranked 47th nationally in doubles. The pair is 12-5 overall, 8-4 in dual matches and are 4-2 in ACC dual matches.
  • Baudry improved to 21-7 overall and is 12-4 from his No. 2 spot in the singles lineup. 
  • Liu is on a three-match winning streak, defeating The Citadel, North Carolina and Duke.
  • Yizhou Liu and Sam Edwards have teamed up to form the Tigers’ No. 2 doubles team, and the two are to 9-6 in dual matches this season, including a big win over Florida State’s 35th ranked team of Aziz Dougaz and Guy Iradukunda on Mar. 2.
  • Clemson has won the doubles point in 12 of its 20 matches on the season. The Tigers have a 8-4 record in those 12 matches.
