Tigers Open Home Slate for 2017 Spring Season

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team plays its first home matches of the 2017 spring season on Saturday, March 4 when Anderson, Appalachian State and North Georgia visit Tigertown for a round-robin tournament.

The Tigers have one more home date on the schedule for the spring, Saturday, April 1, as SEC opponent Tennessee comes to campus for a noon match.

The Tigers opened the spring season on Sunday, Feb. 26 against Furman in Greenville, a 1-0 victory in which January enrollee Mariana Speckmaier scored the lone goal. Clemson will conclude the season on the road in Winston-Salem, N.C. where they will face NC State and Wingate at BB&T Soccer Park.

1 p.m. – Clemson vs. Appalachian State (Field 1)
1 p.m. – North Georgia vs. Anderson University (Field 2)
2 p.m. – Clemson vs. Anderson University (Field 1)
2 p.m. – North Georgia vs. Appalachian State (Field 2)
4 p.m. – Clemson vs. North Georgia (Field 1)
4 p.m. – Anderson University vs. Appalachian State (Field 2) 

Saturday, April 1
Match to be played at Historic Riggs Field
12 p.m. – Clemson vs. Tennessee 

Saturday, April 8
Matches to be played at BB&T Soccer Park in Winston-Salem, N.C.
10 a.m. – Clemson vs. NC State
3:30 p.m. – Clemson vs. Wingate
