Release:  09/03/2014

Vickery Hall's Wayne Coffman was recently a feature subject on the NCAA's official Web site. Clemson graduate Alexia Grevious, who worked for the Tigers as a student assistant in the football office, authored the piece as a web and multimedia communications intern for the NCAA.

Coffman competed at Clemson for the men's cross country and track & field program, earning letters in 1979 and '80. He was the head coach of the women's track & field program from 1984-97, leading the Tigers to a pair of ACC Championships. Coffman then went into academic advising at Vickery Hall, where he continues to work today.
