CLEMSON, S.C. - Reed Kramer, who has served as an intern in the IPTAY office for the last year, has been named Assistant Director of IPTAY for communications and marketing, IPTAY CEO Davis Babb announced Wednesday.
Kramer graduated from Birmingham Southern College in May 2011 with a degree in studio art, and was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field for the Panthers. The native of Knoxville, Tenn. went on to earn a master's degree in sport management from the University of Alabama in August 2012.
Prior to beginning his internship with IPTAY in June 2013, Kramer served as Athletic Marketing Assistant at Coastal Carolina where he created and executed in-game promotions for the Chanticleers' spring sports and helped facilitate the department's social media plan. In the fall of 2012, he assisted with football gameday operations at Samford University, which included operation of video board and public address systems.
In his new role, Kramer will be responsible for the promotion of IPTAY online and through social media, as well as the coordination of design and delivery of peripheral items such as brochures and mailings.
"Reed has been a tireless worker for us over the past year, and we're excited to have him in this newly created role," Babb said.
