Leslie Moreland joined the Vickery Hall staff in August 2001, as the Director of Student-Athlete Career Services and Athletic Academic Advisor. In December of 2007, Leslie's responsibilities changed and she began working full-time with the Athletic Department. Leslie continues to advise the men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the men's tennis team. Prior to working at Clemson University, Leslie was the Interim Experiential Learning Advisor in the career center at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. In addition to her role in the career center, she also was the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Pacific.
Leslie earned her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management in August 2009 from Clemson University. She earned her Master of Arts in Educational Counseling & Psychology from the University of the Pacific and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. While at Wittenberg, Leslie was a student-athlete, playing both field hockey and softball.
Leslie married David Bishop in November of 2008 and the couple welcomed their first son, Drake, in February 2011.
