Wayne Coffman joined the Vickery Hall staff as an athletic academic advisor in 1997, and currently works with the football and golf programs. Before joining the staff, he served as Clemson University's head women's track and field coach from 1985- 1997, where he was named ACC Coach of the Year five times.
During his undergraduate years, Coffman was a track and field student-athlete at Clemson University from 1978-1981. He received his undergraduate degree in business in 1981, and was also awarded a Master's of Education degree from Clemson University in Education Counseling in 1985.
Wayne was also recently named to the Clemson Hall of Fame for his contributions as an athlete and coach.
Wayne is married to Miriam Coffman and has two children, Chelcee and Chandler.
