Chris Shatley, a native of Valdese, NC, is in his second year as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach, currently working with the football team. Shatley has had the privilege to work with nearly all sports during his time as a graduate assistant at Clemson. Prior to his time at Clemson, Shatley interned at the University of Tennessee, working primarily with football.
Shatley graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Concord University in 2011. Shatley was a three-year football letterman and Academic All-WVIAC selection as a tight end and long snapper. Shatley was honored as a three-time "Weight Room Warrior" for his work and leadership in the weight room.
Shatley is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Food, Nutrition, and Culinary Science with an emphasis on Human Nutrition.
