CLEMSON, SC - The 15th-ranked Clemson women's tennis (10-3, 3-0 ACC) team will begin a six-match streak away from home, traveling to face a pair of ACC newcomers this weekend. Clemson will square off with No. 31 Notre Dame on Friday at 4 pm before taking on Pittsburgh on Sunday at 10 am.

Clemson opened the ACC season with a bang, defeating its first three opponents by a combined score of 19-2 and look to keep the momentum going.

The Tigers and Fighting Irish will play each other for the first time since 2009 when the two teams matched up in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, a 4-0 Notre Dame victory. Currently, Notre Dame sits at 5-5 overall and 0-3 in its inaugural season in the ACC.

Meanwhile, Sunday's matchup with the Panthers will be the first meeting of all time between Clemson and Pittsburgh in women's tennis. Pittsburgh has only played six matches this season, holding a 3-3 (0-3 ACC) record. The Panthers will host Miami before playing the Tigers on Sunday.
