Women's Golf Cracks Top 10

CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's golf team is ranked tenth in the most recent poll released by GolfStat.com. This is the first time the inaugural team has been ranked in the top 10 by any poll.

Southern California remains in the top spot. UCLA, Duke, Arkansas, and Oklahoma round out the top five. Arizona State, Stanford, Alabama, Washington, and Clemson finish out the top 10.

Individually, Clemson has four players ranked. Ashlan Ramsey is ranked ninth, Sloan Shanahan is ranked 13th, McKenzie Talbert is ranked 79th, and Lauren Salazar is ranked 192nd.

The Tigers are coming off of a second place finish at the Florida State Match-Up and the team most recently finished tied for fifth at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship in New Orleans, Louisiana. They will return to action March 24-25 in Johns Island, SC when they will participate in the Briar's Creek Invitational.
