CLEMSON, SC - Clemson Head Men's Soccer Coach Mike Noonan has announced the 2014 Men's Soccer Spring Exhibition Schedule Monday afternoon.
The schedule calls for the Tigers to play at Historic Riggs Field three times this spring. The Tigers will also play two professional teams, the Charleston Battery and the Atlanta Silverbacks. The Charleston Battery plays in the United Soccer League and the Silverbacks play in the North America Soccer League.
Clemson will start the exhibition schedule on Wednesday, February 26, when the Tigers play host to Clayton State and Anderson University. On Saturday, March 8, Northwestern will play the Tigers at Historic Riggs Field at 7:00 p.m. Northwestern won the Big Ten regular season championship in 2011 and 2012.
The Tigers will play the Charleston Battery at Charleston on March 15. On Saturday April 5, the Tigers will play the Atlanta Silverbacks at a time and location to be determined.
Clemson will conclude the Spring Exhibition season on Saturday April 12, as the Tigers entertain High Point at 6:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.
