#20 Clemson Will Play at UNC Charlotte on Tuesday

CLEMSON, SC - The #20-ranked Clemson men’s soccer team will play at UNC Charlotte Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Transamerica Field on the UNCC campus.

Clemson has a 9-3-2 record overall this season.  The Tigers are led in scoring by Thomas McNamara with seven goals and six assists for 20 points.  Ara Amirkhanian has six goals and one assist for 13 points.

The 49ers have a 5-5-3 record overall this season.  Gluseppe Gentile leads Charlotte in scoring with five goals and two assists for 12 points.  Kyle Parker has four goals and two assists for 10 points.

This will mark the 17th meeting between the two schools on the soccer field.  Clemson leads the overall series 9-4-3.  The series started in 1980.  In that match, Clemson defeated the 49ers 1-0 in the first-ever home night match in Clemson history.
