CLEMSON, SC - Head Women’s Diving Coach Leslie Hasselbach Adams recently attended and graduated from the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy that was held in Denver, CO.

The NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy is open to all female head and assistant coaches from all NCAA sponsored sports at NCAA member institutions.  There are 80 full scholarships available to attend the 2013 Summer Women Coaches Academies and Hasselbach Adams was awarded one this year.

The NCAA Women Coaches Academy provides skills training for coaches at all levels to assist them in being more efficient, productive, resourceful and successful.  The academy is designed for women’s coaches who are ready and willing to increase their individual effectiveness by learning advanced skills and strategies that directly affect their personal and team success.  The participants learn skills that are not sport specific, yet ones that are relevant and necessary for coaching responsibilities.

This was the 29th class to graduate from the Academy.

“I feel very fortunate to have been selected for the opportunity to attend the NCAA Women Coaches Academy,” said Hasselbach Adams. “I am honored and humbled to have shared the experience with 43 other amazing women coaches in the collegiate coaching profession.  It truly was an enlightening, empowering, educational, and inspiring program.

“Now that I am a proud graduate of the academy, I cannot wait to utilize the knowledge and inspiration I have gained with our diving program.  I am very grateful to the NCAA for providing such an amazing and life-changing opportunity.  I will be forever grateful not only for the educational component but also for the lasting friendships and support,” said Hasselbach Adams.
