Future Clemson women’s golfer Ashlan Ramsey finished second at the Thunderbird International at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. The event, which is one of the top AJGA events nationally, finished on Monday.
Ramsey had rounds of 74-69-69 in finishing at four under par 212, one shot behind Nicole Morales, who birdied the 18th hole to get the victory.
Ramsey will be one of the leaders of Clemson’s first women’s golf team this coming fall. She is currently ranked fifth in the nation among AJGA players. It was her second straight top three finish at a national AJGA event. She was third at the Kathy Whitworth Invitational last month.
