Both Clemson Tennis Teams are Ranked in Top 25

CLEMSON, SC - Both the Clemson men’s and women’s tennis team are ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) top 25 polls released Tuesday.  Clemson is one of only 11 schools with both the men’s and women’s tennis teams ranked in the top 25.

The Clemson women’s team is ranked 14th, while the Tiger men’s team is ranked 25th in this week’s listings.

Individually for the Clemson men, Yannick Maden is ranked 41st in the ITA singles.  In doubles, Maden and his brother Dominique are ranked 11th nationally.  The Clemson men will play at Miami and at Florida State this weekend.

On the women’s side, three Tigers are ranked in singles.  Yana Koroleva is ranked 19th, and Liz Jeukeng is ranked 34th.  Beatrice Gumulya is listed at number 45 this week.  The Clemson women will play host to Furman on Wednesday and will not play again until March 19 when the Tigers play Georgia State in Orlando, FL.
