Clemson 21st in Latest Golf World Coaches' Poll
CLEMSON, SC - Clemson's men's golf team is ranked 21st in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches' Poll. The Tigers dropped two spots from number-19 in the final fall poll. Clemson has been ranked in the top 25 in each poll this academic year and has been ranked in 187 of the last 200 polls dating to the 1996-97 academic year.
Clemson is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic and looks ahead to the USC-Aiken Cleveland Classic that will be played at the Palmetto Club March 11-12. Clemson is the defending champion in that event.
Clemson's top golfer at the Puerto Rico Classic was senior Crawford Reeves, who had a three under par score of 213 and finished in 15th place.
