2016-17: Starter as Clemson’s number-five man in the first four tournaments of the fall and in seven tournaments for the year…finished with a 74.96 stroke average for his 27 rounds… shot 75 or better in 18 of his 27 rounds and four under-par rounds…had best round of the fall came in the second round at the Carpet Classic when he shot a two-under-par 70..finished 38th with a 219 score, his best finish and best 54-hole score of the fall….shot a 223 at The Jackrabbit and 224 at the Nike Golf Intercollegiate…finished fourth among Tigers at Carpet Classic and Nike Golf, two events with national fields…helped Clemson to the championship in Puerto Rico with a 222 score, good enough for a 40th place finish…finished 23rd as an individual at Furman, a performance that included an opening round 69, and 11th at the Clemson Invitational as an individual when he had a second round 69…had his shot of the year at the Wolfpack Spring Open where he had a hole in one….it was just the seventh hole in one in Clemson history…it took place in the first round, the 17th hole, which is 135 yards in length….in the Clemson lineup for the ACC Tournament as well…had three eagles for the year, including the hole-in-one…finished with 75 birdies, his score counted 9 of 21 rounds…averaged 4.83 on par five holes… averaged 30.78 putts per round…had season high 15 birdies and an eagle at Furman.
Summer of 2016: Played in four events in summer of 2016, he finished 32nd in stroke play, to reach the match play of the South Carolina Amateur Match Play...shot 150 at Dogwood, 221 at Palmetto Amateur and 164 at South Carolina Amateur...had best round of the summer with second round 72 at Palmetto Amateur.
In 2015-16: Best on the team among non-starters in stroke average with a 73.78…played in three tournaments overall, all in the spring…played as an individual in all three tournaments…finished second at the Puerto Rico Classic individual tournament with a 212 total, one under par…had consistent weekend of 71-70-71…finished 39th playing as an individual at Bandon Dunes…finished 23rd playing as an individual at the Clemson Invitational…Clemson’s fifth best player overall at that event…had rounds of 75-71-77….had one eagle and 27 birdies for his nine rounds…averaged 31.17 putts per round.
Summer 2015: Played in five events over the summer…shot 224 at Palmetto Amateur to finish 56th, then shot 225 at Rice Planters to finish 76th…11th at his US Amateur qualifier with scores of 72-71…had strong performance at the Oglethorpe Invitational in Savannah in late July with a 208 score, he finished sixth….had rounds of 66-71-71…finished 18th at South Carolina Amateur in August with a 297 score at Chanticleer Country Club in Greenville…shot 73-69 in the final two rounds.
2014-15: Starter in three of the six events in the fall and played in Puerto Rico in the spring...played in the season opener at Carpet Classic as an individual and had a 224 score…shot 223 at the Primland to finish 42nd…finished fall strong with season best 69 at the Hummingbird, good enough for a tie for third place…tied as Clemson’s best golfer at Hummingbird, helping the Tigers to the team title….seven of his 10 rounds were at 75 or better…was 22-over-par for his 10 rounds…had 4.02 average on par four holes, tied for best on the team…had 28 birdies for his 10 rounds...his score counted in 5 of 7 team rounds, including all three in Puerto Rico…hit fairways 61 percent of the time and had 66 percent GIR…averaged 30.90 putts per round.
Summer 2014: Competed in five major tournaments starting with the Palmetto Amateur in early June…finished 44th at Rice Planters, he had an even par 72 in the first round…shot a 222 at the Players Amateur that was played near his hometown in Bluffton, S.C…shot 75 or better in all three rounds.
In High School: Comes to Clemson from Beaufort High School in South Carolina where he played for Brook Dixon….won the South Carolina Golf Association Junior Championship at the Country Club of Lexington when he made a 10-foot birdie putt on the last hole…..shot a six-under-par 210 for the event…also tied for third at the Carolinas Junior at High Point and was a quarterfinalist at the Carolinas Golf Association Junior Match Play….teamed with another junior golfer to win the South Carolina Junior Golf Association Four Ball in October of 2013 when he made a birdie on the second playoff hole….former Clemson golfers Austin Langdale and Carson Young won that event in 2011….qualified for the Georgia vs. South Carolina Junior Team Matches….ranked sixth in the class of 2014 by the South Carolina Junior Golf Association…. finished fifth at 2013 Jimmy Self Tournament in Greenwood and was 19th at he Junior Azalea at Briar Creek.
