Letter from Dan Radakovich - Thank You, Fans
Time and again during my first 15 months here there have been moments which perfectly capture the "Clemson Spirit" which surrounds our campus and community. Rarely has that feeling been put on display in a more perfect manner than the last two basketball games.
The way our fans rallied to support our basketball program has been nothing short of amazing, and I want to thank each and every one of you who came to Littlejohn Coliseum to make it special. Your remarkable passion and spirit helped show why this is such a special place.
Despite a less-than-desirable tipoff time of 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning during spring break on campus, our fans packed the house. Again last night we had a capacity crowd with a huge student turnout. In both games, the atmosphere and excitement provided by the crowd helped the team earn hard-fought wins in the game’s final minute.
While we don’t have any more opportunities to “Rock the ‘John” this season, I’ve charged our staff to use these last two games to continue to make our basketball atmosphere first rate. Just as Brad will use this NIT run to continue to improve our basketball program, we will do the same.
Thank you again for your support of not only our basketball team, but all of our student-athletes representing The Paw. Those who can make it to New York, we’ll see you in Madison Square Garden. Those of you who’ll be supporting and watching on TV, we’ll see you in Littlejohn next season!
