Volleyball to Play Wofford Thursday at 6:00 PM

CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson volleyball team will open their spring season with a three-set exhibition match against Wofford at 6:00 pm on Thursday in Jervey Gym. Admission to the event is free to the public.

The team will have a different look with the departure of Sandra Adeleye, Alexa Rand, Serenat Yaz, and Natalie Patzin, all seniors during the 2012 season.

Some of the key returners include two-time captain Mo Simmons, as well as three-year starter Hannah Brenner. Contributors Kamryn Sherman, Karis Watson, Kristin Faust, and Kalah Jones also return. Newcomers Beta Dumancic and Niki Collier will also dress for the Tigers, who will welcome five more signees in the fall, giving them a total of seven new players for the 2013 season.

Clemson went 21-10 overall last season. Adeleye became the first four-time All-ACC honoree in school history as well.
