Jodi Steffes Welp, now an assistant with the team, was the other, when she was All-Region from 1998-2001.
Adeleye is one of just four players in the 2012 class nationally who can claim four consecutive All-Region selections. This comes weeks after she became the first player in school history and 13th player in conference history to be named All-ACC four times.
Adeleye, in addition to being selected to the All-Region team as a freshman, was also the East Region Rookie of the Year in 2009. The East Region covers all states on the east coast. Each year, only 14 players are selected to the team, along with six honorable mention choices.
This season, Adeleye ranked fourth in the ACC in kills per set at 3.53, tops among all league middle hitters. She also hit .318, and ranked in the top seven in the ACC in blocking at 1.09 per set. For the season, Adeleye averaged 4.22 points per set overall, the best mark of her career.
She sits in the top ten in Clemson history in kills, kills per set, blocks, block assists and hitting percentage.
Clemson closed the regular season at 21-10 overall and 12-8 in the ACC, which put them in a tie for fourth place.
