Overview: In her fourth year with the program, she and Lauren Salazar were the original signees...red-shirted the 2012-13 academic year while waiting for Clemson to start the program for the 2013-14 season...has played in six tournaments over the last two years...sister of former Clemson All-American Ashlan Ramsey...very active in community service.
In 2014-15: Played in one tournament, the All-State Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and her score counted in two of the three rounds...had a 251 score for the 54 holes...had four birdies in the tournament...hit the fairway with her drives 67 percent of the time and hit 46 percent of the greens in regulation for that event.
In 2013-14: Ramsey played as an individual in five tournaments and finished the season with an 82.00 scoring average....had career best 78 in her first round, at the Lady Paladin Invitational on September 20, 2013...finished with a 240 at that event...shot 79-79-78 at Florida State Match-up for 236 score, her career best and career best vs. par (+20)...also played at UNC Greensboro Tournament at Starmount in Greensboro, N.C., the Landfall, and the Battle at the Valley...had 10 birdies for the yaer and hit fairways 57 percent of her drives...averaged 32.56 putts per round...
In High School: Ramsey won the 2010 Charles Howell Junior Championship with a 213 score after consistent rounds of 69-71-73...also finished 13th at the AJGA Junior at Steelwood in 2010...had a strong 2011 season with four top 15 finishes...finished eighth at the AJGA Junior at Savannah Quarters in April and recorded top-12 finishes at the E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship and the AJGA Huntsville Junior in July, and in the Kathy Whitworth Invitational in March...in 2009 she had four top 10 finishes, including second place s at the Chateau Elan Junior and the Charles Howell.
Q: What is something most people do not know about you?
A: I enjoy fishing, painting, shooting clay pigeons with friends, and I really enjoyed the riflery class I took last semester!
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
A: I can paint really well.
Q: What one word would you use to describe yourself?
Q: What made Clemson stand out to you?
A: I have always loved Clemson. I knew Coach Horton would be a great person to build this program. I love the small town feel and I felt very comfortable in Clemson.
Q: What is your favorite spot on Clemson's campus?
A: The ampitheatre-I love going there between classes to lie in the sun and look at the reflection pond.
Q: What is your favorite Clemson tradition?
A: Solid Orange Friday's-It isn't the most popular answer, but I love that it shows how strong the Clemson family is and that everyone bleeds orange!
Q: Who got you started in golf and how?
A: My dad-he always played and we would go with him and hit balls in our backyard (which he made into a driving range)!
Q: Who is your dream foursome?
A: Myself, Payne Stewart, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player.
