Ryan Moehnke is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Clemson diving program. He was the first assistant coach of the newly formed women's diving program in 2012-13.  

During a coaching career that has spanned a decade and a half, Moehnke has coached qualifiers for both the NCAA Men's and Women's Diving Championships. He has seen 32 of his divers qualify for NCAA Zones, while two of his divers have won U.S. Diving Junior National Championships. Four of his divers have qualified for U.S. Olympic Trials, as well.

Moehnke has been active on the international scene in addition to his various domestic roles. He was the head coach for the Swiss National Team at the 2012 World Cup in London, England. He also coached for the United States at the 2003 Junior Pan Am Games in Belem, Brazil, where his athletes accumulated several gold and silver medals.

Moehnke comes to Clemson after working for two seasons as the head diving coach for the Cougar Diving Club in Houston, TX. He has also been a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Houston for the past two seasons. Prior to his time in Houston, Moehnke led the diving program at Yale University for seven seasons. During that time, his divers won four Ivy League crowns and won four Ivy League Diver of the Year awards. He also coached 28 conference finalists during this time.

Before coaching at Yale, Moehnke was the diving coach at Wisconsin-Milwaukee during the 2002-03 season. He was also the head diving coach for Schroeder YMCA in Brown Deer, WI during that season. Prior to that, Moehnke spent the 2000-01 season coaching at IUPUI. He began his coaching career with the U.S. Diving and Training Center and Indianapolis Starz Diving Club in Indianapolis in 1998.

Moehnke earned a bachelor's degree in counseling psychology and coaching from Ball State in 1999.

Moehnke and his wife, Katie, reside in Anderson and have one daughter, Cora (1).
