Zack Reed
Position: Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Alma Mater: Delaware
Graduating Year: 2011
Zack Reed is in his first year as an assistant coach with Clemson’s strength & conditioning staff.  He primarily works with the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Reed, who is pursuing a master’s degree in youth development leadership, came to Clemson after a year at Penn State.  He was involved with both basketball teams in State College in 2011-12.  Prior to his season at Penn State, he was a strength & conditioning intern with the University of Delaware, primarily working with the Blue Hens’ football and crew teams.

A four-year letterman for the University of Delaware football team, he played 53 consecutive games at tight end for the Blue Hens.  He holds the football program’s “Iron Man” record for that consecutive game streak.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in health behavioral sciences, with a fitness management concentration and a minor in strength & conditioning, in the spring of 2011.

Reed, a native of Huntingdon, PA, is a graduate of Huntingdon Area High School.  He is a certified strength & conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is a Level 1 Performance Coach through his association with USA Weightlifting.
