Original walk-on who has provided depth in the infield...is 1-for-10 in 13 games off the bench in two active seasons...has one double and one RBI...has one walk and one hit-by-pitch...one of the team's best students in the classroom.

2011: Was 1-for-8 (.125) with a double, RBI, walk, and .222 on-base percentage nine games, all off the bench...played in two ACC regular-season games and had one putout...was 1-for-5 as a pinch-hitter...hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring double in the second game of a doubleheader against Gardner-Webb on May 7; it was his first career hit.

2010: Was 0-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch in three plate appearances and four games off the bench...was hit-by-pitch against Boston College on Apr. 4; he suffered a hand injury on the play and missed the rest of the season...received a medical red-shirt.

Before Clemson: All-region, all-area, and all-county selection as a senior at Evans High School...region MVP runnerup and team MVP as a senior...lettered three times in baseball at Evans High, where he was coached by Ricky Beale.

Personal: Two-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll...majoring in financial management...born Kevin Barnes Caughman on July 2, 1991 in Augusta, GA.
