Rick Bagby
Position: Director of Video Services
Rick Bagby is in his seventh year as the director of athletic video services, overseeing a department with an ever-growing importance in college athletics. Bagby and his staff of two assistants work daily with the coaching staff to supply them with video of both the Tigers and their opponents.

Along with his full-time staff, Bagby also oversees a staff of eight student assistants who are mainly responsible for video taping daily events for a variety of sports. While daily football practice becomes the most time-consuming aspect of video taping, each of Clemson's 19 sports are covered by Bagby and his staff throughout the year.

In addition to his department's video taping responsibilities, Bagby also coordinates the creation of many highlight videotapes. Almost every banquet at Clemson calls for some type of video to be produced and shown. In addition, the video services department works closely with IPTAY, ClemsonTigers.com, the ACC office, ESPN, Fox Sports Net, other regional sports networks, and every major television network to promote Tiger athletics by ensuring that current Clemson footage is available for their use no matter the sport.

As if his duties at Clemson were not enough, Bagby takes an active role in the field of sports video. He is a past vice-president and president of the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA) and has twice served as co-host for the organization's annual national convention, including the 2004 event. Bagby is also an active member of the Information, Display, & Entertainment Association (IDEA). He has been awarded ACC Video Coordinator-ofthe- Year honors three out of the past six years, including the most recent award for the 2003 season.

In his spare time, Bagby is an avid golfer and enjoys working on his family's website. He is married to the former Jennifer Robinson of Mooresville, NC. The couple has a one-year-old daughter (Payton).
