Overview: Returning starter from 2010-11 who was only golfer to play in every tournament last year...had a strong summer of 2011 with two top 10 finishes...veteran of 14 tournaments in his career and 42 total rounds...played just three events prior to junior year...has 74.33 career stroke average and 74.06 average in 2010-11...has three career rounds in the 60s, they all came within the last 10 rounds of 2011...starter in NCAA regional...reached the Final Four of the South Carolina Match Play in summer of 2009, he lost to eventual champion and Clemson teammate Crawford Reeves...has finished in top 20 of the Palmetto Amateur twice...won Jay Haas Award as SCGA Junior player of the year for 2006...had surgery to repair injured shoulder in November of 2009...had strong summer of 2010 with two fourth-place finishes...recorded an ace on a par four hole in a practice round at Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca (305 yards) in fall of 2010.

Summer 2011: Played in four events and had a pair of top 10 finishes...had second-place at the Greystone Invitational after rounds of 69-71-71-72 for a 283 total...also eighth at the South Carolina Amateur with a 290 score on the Colleton River Course...had round of 70 in the second round...also finished 19th at Carolinas Amateur and 38th at the Palmetto Amateur.

In 2010-11: Finished the year strong with a 15th place finish at Furman, followed by top 25 at Augusta State and ACC Tournament...had 221 score at NCAA regional, but had 71 in second round to help Tigers to 281 team score...another Tiger who showed improvement in the spring as compared to the fall, he had a 75.08 stroke average in the fall and had a 73.32 average in the spring for a 1.76 strokes per round improvement...fourth on the team in stroke average for the year with a 74.06 average, but just 1.06 strokes per round off the first-place player...led the team in birdies with 101...outstanding driver of the golf ball, he hit the fairway .743 of the time, best on the team...his score counted 28 of 33 rounds this year...had best score of the day six times...has solid 4.18 average on par four holes...had 10 rounds at par or better, including eight under-par to rank third on the team...a big reason Clemson won the Furman Invitational, he had an even par 216 score and finished 15th individually...finished strong with a final round 69...started the season strong with 11th place finish at Carpet Classic, he was Clemson's second best player and a big reason Clemson finished third in the national field...he shot a one-under par 215, his low tournament of the year...Clemson's second best player at The Brickyard in the fall with a 219 score...the Tigers top player at US Collegiate with a 221 score...69 is his career best, he has done it three times, all in 2010-11...had 69 in second round of the ACC Tournament...averaged 72.5 over his last 12 rounds.

Summer of 2010: Had a pair of fourth-place finishes in important amateur events...finished fourth at Greystone Invitational with a 284 score, he had rounds of 71-71-68-74...also finished fourth at South Carolina Amateur with a five-under 208, he was the top finisher among Clemson players...reached second round of South Carolina Amateur match play, he was eighth in the stroke play qualifier with a 140 score...finished 49th at Palmetto Amateur and 39th at Cardinal Amateur.

In 2009-10: Played in two events at midseason, consecutive starts at USC-Aiken Cleveland Classic and Furman Invitational...had rounds of 71-69-71 at USC-Aiken to finish sixth, the top finish at the event among Clemson golfers...had an eagle on his first hole of the third round...finished with 36 pars, fifth best in the field...led Clemson to second-place team finish, he shot seven shots better than any other Tiger and was only Tiger in top 16 at the tournament...the 69 was a career best round at college level...played the next week at Furman and shot 237, but finished strong with 74 in final round, helping Tigers to the tournament title...sixth on the team in stroke average in 2009-10...had just 3.0 bogeys per round and that was first on the team...had 72.50 stroke average in the final round...had 16 birdies and one eagle...averaged just 29 putts per round, best on the team.

Summer of 2009: Had outstanding performance at South Carolina Match Play...finished 11th in stroke play qualifying with even par 144...then reached the Final Four with three match play wins...defeated Evan Phillips, Scott Glace and Austin Reeves before losing to Clemson teammate Crawford Reeves 5 &4 in the semifinals...finished 24th at Greystone Invitational...played in Carolinas Amateur, but did not reach Match Play...had rounds of 72-78 at Southern Amateur before missing the cut...finished 34th at South Carolina Amateur with a 295 score.

In 2008-09: Played in one event, The Brickyard and shot a 230 to finish in 67th place...played as an individual...his score would have counted for Clemson team total in each of the last two rounds when he shot 73 and 75...shot three shots better than All-American Kyle Stanley in that second round...named to the ACC Academic honor roll.

Summer 2008: Had an active summer in which he played in six amateur events...third in the qualifying rounds of the South Carolina Match Play with a 141 score, he then lost in first round to Clemson teammate Luke Hopkins...had his best tournament finish of the summer at the Palmetto Amateur in June when he was 11th with a 292 score...reached match play of the Carolinas Amateur with a 142 total...eighth at his US Amateur qualifier, he missed qualifying by just a couple of strokes...finished summer with 26th place finish at the South Carolina Amateur with a 295 total.

In 2007-08: Red-shirted the year at Clemson...named to the ACC Academic honor roll.

In High School: AA State champion in 2006 and 2007...named Mr. Golf for the state of South Carolina in 2006...played on state championship teams in 2002 and 2007...played on region champions from 2002 through 2007...six-time all-region and five-time all-state in golf at Cheraw High School in Cheraw, SC...from same high school as former Clemson All-America punter Dale Hatcher...lettered six years in golf at Cheraw High.
